There are so many dimensions to rape that are disturbing and unsettling. The sheer act of violation, the permanent scars it leaves, the apathy towards the heinous crime and then the solutions to prevent such acts. Actually the 4th dimension is the one that is most disturbing. There are leaders advocating banning skirts in schools, a recent news report says Puduchery is almost leaning towards a purdah system to protect women from sexual predators, there is a neta who claims that women should only be housewives. It is scary when the actual problem is not considered at all. Women getting raped? sexually harassed? cover them up, confine them to their houses – its their fault after all for wanting what is rightfully theirs. Forget the predators, they will roam streets sniffing out potential targets. Wonder when we will wake up as a nation, as a judiciary and as humans.

Very true, we are not focusing on the actual problems, our system is victimizing the victims and justifying the actions of those bastards.
Exactly..
