Smt Bombay Jayashree has been nominated for an Oscar in the “the best original song category” for her lullaby in Life of Pi. The song has been written, composed and sung by the lady herself. Watched her (post nomination) interview a couple of minutes back. Haven’t felt so deliriously happy in a while now. I really hope she wins.
